| helloooooo everyone....i just wanted to talk about one of my favorite topics..well...i dont like it, but i know that it hits me hard and tons of other people...it's spiritual warfare...
in the christian life one of the main goals is to deny the ways of the world and to live only in a way that would please god...now...being the stupid people that we are, most of humankind has stopped doing this. they have been influenced by satan and have been corrupted to follow twisted and messed up lives. there is a constant battle going on that most are not even aware of. some call it good vesus evil, light versus dark, whatever it is, it's satan corrupting us stupid people. it would be great if this corruption really didnt matter, but in truth it effects all areas of life. it affects the way we do business, the way we make and keep relationships, the way we interact with eachother, the way we interact with our environment, the words that come out of our mouths and all kinds of stuff. satan has corrupted this world, and even though there are cool things in this world, as a whole it is based on greed, personal desire,lies, and corruption....that doesnt sound like a place where i want my children to grow up...as christians it is our moral obligation, duty, and purpose to stand up to the corruption and lies and make things right. if you see a kid cheating, you stand up and voice your opinion. if you see a kid swearing out another one, you stand up and voice your opinion. if you see satan slyly working in this community, then call him out! call upon the lord to help stop the impurities of our world...now granted...this seems like such an easy thing to do...just stand up and say it, but in reality this is extremely hard, because you run the risk of being call an outcast. also, a lot of the time people get mad when you try to tell them not to indulge in evil desires and point out their weakness. they'll try to retaliate by pointing the finger back at you...this is something that i really suck at..i tell people things in maybe an offensive way if i am not really thinking and then they flip out and call me a hypocrite..sooo the best way to show people how to do something is not by taking there hands and doing it, but by doing it yourself. dont preach..but rather, demonstrate. if you live a tight life and show good morals, then people will take not and they will try to be like you...i feel this in a lot of people. my boy eric is a complete example. he teaches me soo much about living write, but he doesnt speak it.he lvies it and i have been affected by that.but here...even now i am a hypocrite. not much way around it..see...im a hypocrite...im preaching to you to go demonstate instead of preaching..well...im not perfect...what can i say...but there is still truth in my words. the best way to teach is not by teaching, but by doing...hopefully these words will touch someone in someway...if not...then it has helped me to collect my thoughts...and really see what kind of a person i am....A HYPOCRITE!!!..but you know what?...if everyone was always soo worried about making a mistake and going against what they themselves believed, then no one would really stand up for things. no one would voice a new opinion. no one would change...everyone would be stuck in the same path, in the same past, never changing adn never developing. so my friends, the next time you feel that something injust is afoot, what will you do?will you stop the impurities in your life? pray for me so that i may. will you let satan slide by unnoticed? or will you jump to your feet and call out the sin on the spot, even and especially if you commited it? your choice. your battle. your world...how do you want to make a difference? what kind of a world do you want your kids living in? what kind of a world of a world do you want to live in? the future is in our hands. we control how this world turns out. god let us be history makers for, so that we may create heaven on earth by glorifying your name in all that we do. forgive us for our hypocrisies...peace-jake | | |
